The talking-stick circle, online

One stick.
One voice.
A calmer way
to meet online.

A video room built on the talking-stick method, for facilitators and anyone who holds space for a group. You hold the circle; the room holds the turn.

Why a circle, not a call

What changes when the stick is visible.

01

Nobody talks over anyone.

One person holds the stick; everyone else listens until the turn is complete. Not a rule you have to enforce — something the room can see.

02

The quiet people speak.

The turn goes round the circle, so a seat is never skipped. The people who were waiting for a gap stop waiting.

03

You hold the circle, not the software.

Flow, timer and the shared centre are set before anyone arrives. Once the circle starts there is almost nothing left to operate.

The product, in the room

A circle you understand at a glance.

Real faces, one shared center, and a clear sense of whose turn it is. Everything else stays quietly at the edge.

Try it — pass the stick, turn the round, or open the floor.

Demo. The rules are the real ones — direction, turn order and the open round run on a port of the engine's own state machine. The video, audio and other participants are not real.

The method

From link to listening.

Familiar enough to begin in seconds. Different enough to transform the conversation.

01

Create the room

Name the circle, set an optional timer, and prepare the shared center.

02

Share one link

Guests enter without an account, a download, or a setup ritual.

03

Pass the stick

One person speaks. Everyone else listens until the turn is complete.

The practice

Old in principle. Alive in every room.

The circle is older than any of the technology around it. Nothing below changes that — it only says what a group may invite in.

Two ways to sit

The circle is complete without AI.

Everything on this page so far works with nobody in the room but people. The circle does not need any of what follows — but a group that wants to can invite it in, deliberately and visibly.

Default

Human Mode

The whole product.

  • One visible Talking Stick
  • Sunwise, earthwise, or open flow
  • Optional, gentle turn timers
  • Nothing is transcribed, and nothing is recorded unless you start it

There is no hidden middle. Nothing listens until a person in the room turns it on — and while it is on, the room can see that it is on.

Made for people who hold space

Built for facilitators. Used well beyond them.

If holding a group is your work, this is built for your week — not for a product demo.

01

Facilitators & coaches

Hold the room, not the tech.

Protected speaking time, simple invitations, and a structure people understand immediately.

For facilitators & coaches
02

Teams & leaders

Hear the voices meetings miss.

Retros, decisions, and difficult conversations where quiet people have equal space.

03

Therapists & group practices

Protect sensitive speaking time.

A visible, facilitator-led container for groups that need clarity, trust, and room to finish.

04

Education & communities

Make attention a shared practice.

A calm container for learning groups, communities, and circles across languages.

05

Meaningful conversations

Give difficult rooms a gentler rhythm.

For the conversations where interruption changes more than the agenda.

When one person speaks,
the whole room changes.

The circle replaces competition for airtime with a visible, trustworthy rhythm. Nobody has to push in. Nobody disappears. Listening becomes part of the structure—not a polite request.

Privacy is part of the practice

What is said in the circle stays in the circle.

Video and audio are encrypted in transit and relayed through Cloudflare’s realtime network—forwarded, not stored. Recording is off unless the host turns it on.

Simple pricing

Guests never pay.

Guests join free, on every plan. Paid plans add more space, longer sessions, recording and transcripts.

Hosting is free to start: up to six people, thirty minutes a circle, twelve participant-hours a month.

Free

€0

Try the method with a small circle — about four circles of six a month.

  • Video circles, always free
  • Up to 6 participantsHow many people can be in one circle at the same time, you included. Guests never need an account and never pay.
  • 30-minute sessionsHow long a single circle may run before it closes. Nothing else is limited by it — you can hold as many circles as your monthly hours allow.
  • 12 participant-hours each monthParticipant-hours are participants × hours, added up across all your circles in a month. An hour with eight people uses eight; an hour on your own uses one. We count it this way because a bigger circle genuinely costs more to run — everyone receives everyone else's video.

  • Up to 8 participantsHow many people can be in one circle at the same time, you included. Guests never need an account and never pay.

Questions, answered

The quiet details.

01Do guests need an account?

No. Guests join with one link or a six-digit room code. Only the facilitator needs an account.

02Can the platform be white-labelled?

Not yet. Rooms carry your circle's name today, but your own logo and visual identity are still in preparation. If that is what a wider program needs, talk to us and we will tell you honestly where it stands.

03Do I need to install anything?

No. The circle runs in the browser — yours and your guests'. There is no app, no plugin and no download, on any device.

04How many people fit in a circle?

Six on the free plan, ten on Circle, thirteen on Practitioner. The shape holds either way: everyone stays in view around one shared centre, and the turn stays visible no matter how many seats there are.

05Is our conversation private?

Video and audio are encrypted in transit and relayed through Cloudflare's realtime network, which forwards the streams rather than storing them. A session is only recorded when the host starts a recording; those files are kept for seven days and can be deleted sooner. The platform is built in Germany under European privacy standards.

06What if someone has never been in a circle before?

That is the normal case, and the room is built for it. The stick is visible, the turn order is visible, and the timer is visible — so nobody has to be told the rules twice. Most groups need one round to settle in.

07Can I cancel, and what happens to my rooms?

Cancel anytime; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Your recordings and transcripts stay available for their normal seven days, and you can export them before the plan ends.
